this is the gravestone of a captain from the revolutionary war in america, taken in my hometown in New England.

Forgotten Souls

Recently in Dortmund, an old forgotten cemetery was discovered next to a church in the middle of town. The construction work on the site was stopped to allow archeologists to properly dig and document everything. I happened by on a windy weekend day. The wind had blown the plastic cover off, exposing this full skeleton for all to see. Several others could also be seen in close proximity. Pretty strange and eery to see this right in the middle of a busy city!
